Bring outdoor clothing for temperatures ranging anywhere from 50 to 85 degrees. Remember, this is the far north, where wilderness, weather and BIG CHINOOK rule. A coat and sweatshirt will do. If you own fleece bring it because it provides warmth and simply can't be beat.
We provide all the raingear and rubber boots. As soon as you arrive you can go to the dock and get your size and take it to your room for your entire stay. Bring a change or two of clothes and pack everything into a soft-sided duffle-style bag. All of your gear should not exceed 20 pounds. While this sounds hard, it really isn't considering what we provide. And if you do run short of clean clothes we have laundry facilities and a staff member who will clean, fold and return your clean laundry to your room at no charge. Our staff is always on hand to make your stay pleasurable and comfortable.
Please feel free to bring your own fishing gear. Our gear consists of four rods & reels rated to handle 30 pound test. Our rods are 8 1/2 feet long and our reels are standard level wind reels loaded with new line. For more information about the fishing jump to Trophy Fishing.

Don't forget to bring your camera and/or video recorder because we have incredible scenery from the time you leave the Renton airport until you get to the lodge. And you wouldn't want to miss making memories of your trophy chinook!
We also have eagles living close to the resort. Watch for them as they soar above the lodge, looking for baitfish. One thing's for sure though, these eagles don's stand a chance at landing any of the Rivers Inlet trophy chinook!
Don't forget your personal items and prescription medication. It's a long way to the nearest store so please carry important medicine in your pockets to ensure that you always have it handy.
For more information about what to bring please feel free to call our office any time. We look forward to hearing from you and of course, telling trophy chinook salmon fishing stories from season's past, present and future.
